Gabriela Calderon

Gabriela I. Calderon joined KEEN Greater DC as Development Director in April 2026, bringing her expertise to design and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies that drive meaningful change.  In this role, she oversees all fundraising activities in support of KEEN's mission to empower youth with disabilities and their families, and to make a lasting impact on volunteer coaches.

Gabriela brings to KEEN 16 years of experience in non-profit and for-profit industries. Formerly, she worked for the Cathedral Choral Society as Director of Communication & Philanthropy, where she created opportunities to connect extraordinary people with worthy causes. Before that she served as Development Coordinator for the Emerging Art Leaders Symposium and worked for the Office of Student Services at the School of Public Affairs as office manager at American University. She holds a master’s in arts management and administration from American University.

Outside of KEEN, Gabriela has a deep interest in arts and culture, and the impact they have on the world. She believes art should be equitable and accessible for all, and that it can create a lasting impact in the development of a person’s sense of self and on their community.
